Hi everyone! As the year starts, we embark on a new project: a magazine! We want to invite writers, thinkers, and artists who would like to participate. This next weekend, we'll begin writing together. All ages are welcome, and the writing can be in English, Spanish, or Quechua. We'll be accepting Essays, short stories, news, photographs, paintings, drawings, research- all of which should explore, celebrate, or document our Andean indigenous heritage and our multicultural experiences, with its challenges and opportunities. Some of the subjects we are interested in are those of historical and cultural significance, that include our music and dance expressions, textile, graphic and other arts, sociology, anthropology, architecture, mental health, community welfare, science and technology. If you are interested in participating, email yina@kuyayky.org.
