🎻 Proudly Showcasing Peru’s Talent: Support Our Children’s & Youth Orchestra’s Journey to Spain!
We’re thrilled to share that our Children’s and Youth Orchestra, one of our cornerstone projects, has been invited to perform at a series of events in Spain! This incredible opportunity allows these young musicians to proudly represent the music, culture, and talent of Jauja, the Mantaro Valley, and Peru on an international stage.
Comprising talented children and youth from across Jauja, our orchestra offers free musical training, empowering young artists to develop their skills and share Peru’s rich cultural heritage. Many of these students have already represented Peru both nationally and internationally, and this trip will further their artistic growth while highlighting the value of music education.
But we need your Help to get there.
Traveling to Spain in October is a dream come true for these young ambassadors, but we face significant financial challenges, particularly with airfare and travel expenses. That’s why we’re reaching out to individuals and institutions who believe in education, culture, and youth development to support this transformative journey.
Your contribution will:
✔️ Fund flights for these deserving young musicians
✔️ Strengthen their artistic and personal growth
✔️ Showcase Peru’s cultural heritage on a global stage
✔️ Inspire the next generation of talent
✔️ Help fund additional travel costs
To learn more about our orchestra’s impact, check out this award-winning documentary by Sister Rubi Hurtado and Said, which highlights the daily lives, stories, and achievements of our members:
